[Press Release] Exclusive Distribution Agreement Signed for Speediance "Gym Nano" in Japan
Uchino LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement in Japan with the smart fitness equipment brand "Speediance" for its portable cable trainer, the "Gym Nano."
Under this agreement, the Company will handle the import, sales, and after-sales support for the Gym Nano in Japan. Please note that this exclusive distribution agreement applies only to the Gym Nano product and does not cover the entire range of Speediance brand products.
About Speediance
Speediance is a smart fitness equipment brand founded in 2020. The company develops products that allow for professional-grade training at home, focusing on load control powered by digital technology and the utilization of training data.
In 2022, the company launched the "Gym Monster," an all-in-one smart home gym. By integrating hardware and software to combine everything from load adjustment to training tracking, the company has provided a training experience unlike that of traditional fitness equipment.
About Gym Nano
The Gym Nano is a portable cable trainer that supports a digital load of up to 100kg within a compact body weighing just 8.2kg. It allows users to adjust the load without the need to change weight plates, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including strength training, accessory movements, and performance training for athletes.
The resistance can be adjusted from 3.5kg to 100kg, with increments of 0.5kg between 3.5–10kg, and 1kg between 10–100kg. It features five training modes—Standard, Chain, Eccentric, Isokinetic, and Sled—allowing users to vary how the resistance is applied according to their specific goals.
Because the cables can be extended up to 5.1m, the device accommodates not only strength movements like presses and rows but also rotational movements and exercises involving displacement. Through the measurement and recording of training data, users can track their daily efforts and progress.
The product's key feature is its ability to add cable exercises to existing training environments, even in home or personal gyms where space is limited and installing large cable machines is difficult.
Domestic Deployment
The Company has previously supported the creation of diverse training environments, from home gyms to commercial facilities, by providing racks, free weights, strength machines, and more. By adding the Gym Nano to our lineup, we are offering a new option that combines digital resistance training with existing equipment.
