Description
This is a 10mm thick gym joint mat provided by GYMMAT . It is a jointed gym roll mat, measuring 50cm square and 10mm thick. *The width of the overlapping joint is 16mm, so when joined together, the mat measures 98.4cm from end to end.
This mat is relatively lightweight yet hard, making it ideal for protecting floors when installing strength and cardio machines. It is also recommended for home gyms where you will be doing bodyweight exercises and other exercises that will not subject the floor to strong impacts.
On the other hand, it does not have the same vibration-damping and shock-absorbing properties as a rubber chip mat, so we recommend a rubber gym mat if you expect dumbbells or barbells to fall.
The mat has a non-slip coating, so it has excellent grip and can be used for exercises using machines. In addition, the mat is jointed so there are no gaps between the mats when exercising.
