This 10mm thick EVA joint mat from GYMMAT is an ideal cushioning solution for light exercises such as bodyweight training, stretching, and yoga. Its versatile design makes it suitable for a wide range of settings—from single-room apartments to commercial spaces.
While standard EVA mats on the market typically have a hardness level of 30–35, this mat is made with a high-density design and a slightly firmer hardness of 45. This makes it durable enough to support home training equipment such as benches, pull-up bars, and exercise bikes (though heavier objects may leave temporary dents).
However, for heavier equipment like commercial power racks or weight stack machines, we recommend using professional-grade rubber gym mats, as EVA may compress under substantial weight.
A common issue with many EVA mats is their strong chemical odor, especially noticeable in small spaces like studio apartments. GYMMAT’s EVA mats undergo a unique chemical treatment to remove odor-causing compounds, resulting in a nearly odorless mat. While a faint scent may be detectable up close, it will not fill the room.
Each mat measures 50 cm x 50 cm and weighs only 250 grams, making it extremely easy to lay out, move, and reposition. The material is also easy to cut with a utility knife, allowing you to customize it to fit the shape of your space.
Made from water-resistant EVA, the mat is easy to clean—just wipe off any spilled drinks or moisture.
