Description
Precision and performance matter most when it comes to competitive lifting, and REP’s Calibrated Steel Plates (KG) deliver both. Designed in Colorado, these plates give you the same feel and reliability as those used on the competition platform. Whether you’re dialing in your technique or chasing new PRs, training with calibrated plates ensures your lifts translate seamlessly to meet day.
Each steel weight plate is calibrated within a strict tolerance of just +/-10g of the stated weight, so you know exactly what’s on the bar every time. Constructed from premium steel and finished with a sandblasted, electroless nickel coating, these plates are exceptionally durable while maintaining a refined look that holds up under heavy use. This premium finish is tougher than standard powder coat or chrome, offering resilience, smudge resistance, and better concealment of wear over time. Each plate also features a chamfered edge—a design unique to REP Fitness—that makes them easier to handle when loading or unloading from a bar or storage
The slim profile (as thin as 4.8mm and up to 23.4mm, depending on plate size) means you can load the bar to its maximum capacity—over 400kg when using larger plates—without running out of sleeve space. These plates are IPF compliant and feature internationally recognized color-coding for quick identification: red 25kg, blue 20kg, yellow 15kg, green 10kg, and white 5kg. Each plate is laser-etched for clear, permanent markings that stand up to heavy use. Smaller plates (0.25kg–2.5kg) follow standard specifications without color bands. Available in both individual pairs and complete sets, with options ranging from 0.25kg to 25kg, REP’s Calibrated Steel Plates (KG) are the gold standard for lifters who demand accuracy, longevity, and uncompromising quality.
